Puppy School
There is a critical window in a puppy's life for socialisation between 10 and 16 weeks of age. This important time in a puppy’s life can help shape how they will act as adults in dealing with new people, places, meeting dogs, being comfortable at the veterinary clinic and handling new experiences. It’s important to expose your puppy to as many different sights, sounds, smells, and experiences as possible during this critical time without overwhelming them. At our puppy classes there is as much off lead play as possible in a safe, controlled environment to instil those all important social skills. We offer both a small and large breed class to accommodate puppies of all sizes. Our method of training is based on positive reward through repetition, food treats, pats and praise.
Establishing one trusted source of information is the other reason to join our classes. Everywhere you turn you’ll get advice about what to do with your new puppy and the information can be overwhelming and confusing. Our puppy educator Sarah is here to answer all of your questions, as well as provide you with some tips on trouble shooting any challenges that you might be facing with your puppy.
